Wanting to lose weight is a common reason for coming to Clinical Hypnosis. It would seem to be a simple matter to just eat less, or cut out certain foods, but many of us have strong attachments to food and to do so, can be a real battle.
If controlling your eating habits is difficult for you, it is important to find out why you overeat and when you overeat. There will likely be a purpose, and it is this that Clinical Hypnosis can help you find and work with so that you can establish healthier eating patterns.
Then you'll be able to see yourself looking the way you want, and lose weight at a reasonable rate whilst feeling more in control of your body.
Sometimes people have developed more extreme eating patterns such as bulimia which involves bingeing and purging, or a regime where food intake is rigidly controlled. Very often these patterns were established at a young age for a particular purpose and you may feel you now want to break free of these. Resolving the underlying need for these eating habits is important here.
