using clinical hypnosis for change

SELF-HYPNOSIS

In many cases, I teach my clients this wonderful technique. If you have read the first part of my website, you will know that you already go into a hypnotic state throughout the course of the day. With self-hypnosis, you are simply creating this condition for yourself in order to do some purposeful work.

It is very simple to put yourself into hypnosis. Usually, I teach you a countdown technique which in any case, you may well have experienced with me in treatment. As you become more proficient, you will probably develop your own method.

There are two reasons why I teach self-hypnosis. There is no doubt that working with this technique between sessions with me enhances treatment. Those who take it seriously generally progress more quickly and it gives people an enormous feeling of being able to control their lives more fully. I discuss with you the best way to use it for your particular needs and we review what you are doing at each session.

Once you can use this technique, you have it for life. You can continue to use it throughout your life to make changes in yourself, to improve your creativity, to develop goals and for many other reasons. The belief that you can truly create your life will grow immeasurably.
